Entry 96: The Mirror Feeds

You stare into me

I stare into you

You see your reflection

I see my next victim

You use me for vanity

I’ll feed upon your insanity

Touching yourself up

I can hardly wait

One of these nights

I’m going to snatch you away

Feeding on your soul…

…I’ll relish in your pain…

Just another soul I’ve consumed

Another missing person

No one will find

Yes…you will be mine

-The Mirror Feeds-

  1. I love this, and the direction that my thoughts went after reading this. Wonderful poem!

I find the mirror to be such a mysterious item. “I stare into you” exactly! The mirrors are constantly watching, perhaps truly waiting. šŸ˜‰

Wishing you a terrific Monday, take care. ~ Mia

    • Mirrors are on a list of things I’m actually afraid of. I’ve always found them intriguing and at the same time terrifying! It is an odd mix, but I find much interest in things that scare me or even make me feel at unease.

Thank you kindly Mia for your kind words and for frequenting my blog so often. I truly appreciate and love hearing your thoughts and the discussions we have. I was also excited to see you post something new today!

Have an amazing Monday and thank you so much again!

      Cheers! ^_^

      • I’m just the opposite, no fear, and also completely intrigued with mirrors, and how to get inside or to the other side of them. The things that make us uneasy are by far the most interesting, and the most worthy of exploring.

You’re most welcome, your wonderful writing lights a spark in my mind, and I have the most marvelous revelations. šŸ˜‰ Thank you for the terrific discussions and for sharing your thoughts as well.

        Enjoy Monday!

      • I’ve always believed there is something inside mirrors (or on the other side). I always felt that the reflections we see aren’t everything. I used to be afraid my reflection would jump out and and pull me in. I know it’s a silly and childish fear (however in some ways that still stays with me today).

I always felt there could be a mysterious another reality on the other side even. Anyways, have a great one and glad I could ignite a spark inside your mind.

        Cheers! ^_^

    • Yeah, well doing makeup is just another time they get to stare into you, and another chance for them to decide this is the day they no longer wait and consume you! šŸ˜‰

Oh and I saw Oculus about a half year or so ago for the first time and I really enjoyed the film. I’m also afraid of mirrors so I understand your pain.

      Thank you for stopping by.

      Cheers! ^_^
